Nepalese Enfield that I have defarbed for the customer. All original parts and would make a good starter musket or a loaner for an organization to keep on hand. Would also make a nice addition to a collection of Enfields.
Lock works well. Mainspring is very strong. A lot of the Nepalese Enfields can be in questionable condition but this was is good overall and there were no repairs needed with the exception of freshening the nipple threads. Ramrod has a pointed end and no threads.
Nice wood on the stock. There is pitting on the barrel but the rust bluing does somewhat hide it so it is not as obvious.
Even though it is a post-war Enfield, it has quite a bit of life in it and is worth considering.
