DEFARBED Richmond musket. I have cleaned it up and gone over it and it is in good shape and ready to serve in the field. I don't know who did the defarbing - it wasn't me. It is a good defarb job. The only thing not done was the sling swivel pins from what I can see.
The high hump lock plate has color case hardening on it. Some of the early Richmonds were treated like this. Inspector cartouches on the lock panel and all modern markings have been removed very nicely.
I don't know for sure who made this but am making an educated guess and saying it is an Armisport.
This is a GREAT price for a defarbed Richmond. Grab if for your CS impression.
